My Camino Journey
¨When you desire something with all your heart, the whole universe conspires to help¨ -Paulo Coelho
As of tonight there are only about 50 kilometers left til I reach Santiago. It’s hard to believe I have come this far. I don’t think anyone is really ready for it to be over. We walked a bit shorter today and stopped in Melida. This town is know for Pulpo. So we had octopus for lunch today. It was really good. But the highlight of my day was tonight when there were about 25 pilrims sitting out in front of the albergue and someone started playing “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. Within the first line everyone began singing. It was one of my favorite moments so far. Everyone does the camino their own way, but we are all together.

Yes so far only one day of rain. Today it was cloudy and great weather for walking. I miss you too. So many great experiences to share when I get back. Love to you and Fritz!
I try to only check ur posts every few days so I can spend a little longer reading about ur experiences and looking at the pictures. It looks like the landscape is changing. The higher hills and the vineyards r beautiful. Absolutely amazing how u have perservered with all the leg pain and then bed bugs too. I hope both disappear soon. It’s so neat u have met fellow travelers along the way to share it all with. I sure hope u find a way to stay longer to continue ur adventure. Be Safe, Suzanne
I have gotten rid of the bugs… but there is no guarantee given the amount that seem to be transported along the camino. I have decided to continue walking to Finesterre, which is at the very end of spain. it is considered the true end of the road. Say hi and send my best wishes for Melissa! much love, Liza
I will. Best of
Luck on the rest of ur journey.
