Down for the afternoon
Well I had a bit of heat stroke this afternoon which was really unpleasant. So I have been resting. I will see how I feel in the morning and decide what to do from there.
Tonight I was asked by my roommates to be a part of a video blog of sorts and tell my story. It was quite interesting hearing about how it is hopefully being used for his thesis.
Now I am going to sleep early and hopefully get rid of the last of this headache. 🙂
Somehow I missed this post. Looks like when you’re suffering heatstroke, there is no where to get in the shade…
Yes this part of the Camino has little shade. At least I had already reached the town when it hit. Also I had a couple I was sharing the room with that gave me some tablets you disolve in water to help rehydrate. Don’t worry, the heat is over! ALso I have started before sunup and stopped by 9:30.
It is actually supposed to rain tomorrow!
Rain would be a relief here – upwards of 105 and going strong
Ouchy! That’s too hot! It didn’t rain but was way cooler. Very nice now.
