And so it ends

This really is the end. Cape Fisterre is the end most point of the Camino Santiago. This was one of the best moments on my camino and I am really happy I decided to continue on. It was quite an emotional moment sitting on the rocks knowing that I had reached my goal. It is a bit of a tradition to burn your clothes on the rocks. It was so quiet as everyone sat talking in hushed tones watching the ocean and the fires burning respectfully. For me, I decided to say goodbye to a faithful friend. So from the top of the rocks I threw my cane into the ocean. In one moment I felt as though I was really free. Words cannot express the emotions but it was the true end for me.

Also a special thanks to my friend Ronald who captured the moment even though I thought nobody was watching.
