Not stopping now

Well I decided to continue my Camino. Some say the true end of the road is in Finisterre. So today I started walking again. I will be going about another 100 kilometers till I reach the ocean. Today was a really late start from Santiago. We didn’t reach Negreira until almost 10pm. Usually the albergues are closed by then so we thought we would have to camp or find a cheap pension. However upon arriving to town we stopped at a gas station for snacks and as we were standing there a young guy approached us and asked if we needed a place to stay. Turns out he was the hospitalero for the local albergue. So he came back and let us in. People rock! So now I am just waiting for my laundry to finish…really need clean clothes. Then bed, I can’t wait. It was a long day but it is nice to be walking again and away from the sounds and chaos of the city.
It’s finally starting to set in that I have really walked across Spain. Well, almost.

I finished now. Just arrived back in Santiago. Next I am going by bus to the Pyrennes since I missed them.
