Another brilliant day

Every day on the camino is full of magic. The countryside has changed to a very beautiful green with lots of hills. The walking is a bit more difficult but worth every moment. Today I encountered two places that were quite unique. The first was a prayer room that an English man had set up for the pilgrims. It was very peaceful. Later as I was walking I saw a sign for a “gallery” “crystal showcase”. When I first saw the sign I thought I didn’t want to add on an extra kilometer to detour so I continued. However just a little way down the path I saw another sign with a second road detouring to the place. So I decided I might as well check it out. The sign said coffee and tea were available and I really wanted some. So I went. It was awesome. The man that runs it is an artist that uses all natural materials. He finds crystals and rocks with different minerals and then crushes and separates them by color. He uses tree sap as his glue and makes pictures. It was really awesome. The bonus was that I was super hungry when I arrived and without me asking the man made me the best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had. It was also quite cool because his nine year old daughter was there visiting from Bolivia. When she came out of the house she came right over to me and kissed me on each cheek. It was super sweet.
As I left I felt full of energy.  Shortly after I found all my camino friends at the next bar and we all walked together the rest of the afternoon.  Now I am soooo tired and can’t wait to sleep!

Thinking you might consider an extended stay and see just what other roads there are awaiting you on this world.
