My Camino Journey
¨When you desire something with all your heart, the whole universe conspires to help¨ -Paulo Coelho
Today I did get lucky!!! No rooomate! I actually slept a few hours this afternoon and am looking forward to a solid night sleep. Much needed I might add.
So, there is a family that is riding the Camino. The mother, father, and three boys under 10. They already rode to Santiago and now are riding home. Already they have done over 600k. It was fun watching them playing in the fountain. Makes me wish I had energy like that. 🙂
Another pleasant surprise was when I went to the market to purchase some food for dinner. I just switched regions so decided to get a bottle of wine. I grabbed one that was 3€ from a winery I passed recently. As I was checking out the lady started telling me it was no good and kept point at a 2€ bottle behind the register. Then she told me it was made local so I decided to give it a go. I am so impressed! I can’t be sure since it has no label and my Spanish isn’t the best but maybe she made it? So far it has been the best yet. Score!
Just for reference in a soda machine a coke will cost 1€. 🙂
